staff - Matan Malka

Matan Malka was born and raised in the town of Shlomi in the Western Galilee. After graduating from high school, he studied at the pre-military preparation program in Upper Galilee and served in the IDF as a combat soldier and commander in the Golani Brigade. He also served as an officer in the Education Corps.  In his last position in the service, Matan commanded the Geographic Guidance Unit of the Education Corps in the north. After his discharge from the IDF, he traveled in Israel and around the world and continued to work as a tour guide. Matan now studies liberal arts and Middle East and Islam at Shalem College, and teaches Hebrew in a school in East Jerusalem.
