AAB - Rafi Bildner
Rafi Bildner (BYFI '10) is originally from Montclair, New Jersey and a junior at Yale University, studying the politics and policy of American food and agriculture. Before starting college, he took a gap year to found October Mountain Farm - a diversified vegetable farm in the hills of Western Massachusetts - attend French culinary school, and work for the Obama campaign's finance team at their Chicago headquarters. At school, he is a farm manager for the Yale Sustainable Food Project, the president of Yale's outing club, and works with the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy on food policy research. He has been very involved in Democratic political organizing, and has worked on several campaigns both at the local and national levels. He is also a passionate aviator, and has his private pilot's license and instrument rating. Rafi is thrilled to serve on the AAB, and be involved in an organization that has had such an enormous impact on his life.
