Bronfman and College

Bronfman Fellows are supported in their senior year college application process with visits to older alumni on college campuses, personal conversations with the Bronfman staff, and recommendations written on their behalf.

Our Fellows are consistently accepted to some of the most prestigious and competitive universities and colleges.  Over 65% of alumni currently attend or have graduated from highly selective universities.

The Bronfman Fellowship has been listed by Chuck Hughes, former Senior Admissions Officer at Harvard, in his book, What it Really Takes to Get Into the Ivy League and other Highly Selective Colleges, as one of the programs which "act as filters for admissions officers to validate candidates who have been similarly identified by other organizations for talent and promise."

College Life as a Bronfman Fellow

The Fellowship is only the beginning of a lifelong membership in a vibrant and participatory community.

A highlight of the collegiate Bronfman experience is the Collegiate Shabbaton (weekend retreat), which is held at a different university each year. Along with continuing campus dinners with other alumni, learning events, and community service opportunities, these weekends provide the opportunity for Bronfman Fellows to reconnect and bring the intellectual vigor and diversity of the Fellowship into their college experience.
